Make Sure You Can See the Stage

With over 15,000 seats in the Jones Beach NY Amphitheater, you may have need to get your eyes checked so that you can see concerts, plays and movies from whatever seats you have.

You May Need Binoculars

Even if your eyes are fine you may consider bring along a pair of binoculars in order to see the expressions on the faces of some of the biggest names in music history. The A will be needed however. The music that flows from this amphitheater engulfs Jones Beach. You don’t really need seats in the amphitheater itself to hear what’s going on inside. But then you would mess the antics of some of the greatest rock groups in history such as Van Halen, KISS, Poison and Def Leopard.

In Years Gone By

Decades ago, when the Jones Beach Theater was in its infancy, it was likely far easier to see and hear the operas, musicals and plays that took place on stage since the seating was at a mere 8200. Of course there is also the Bay Stage which was added back in 2009 when Nikon purchased the name of the theater (Tommy Hilfiger had purchased the name for a while) which but we possibly offer far more advantageous viewing opportunities.
The reason being that the Bay Stage has only 1500 seats.
